Yes, I did go out on Sat. You're correct, it was not fun but I had to take the boat to it's winter home @ Shep's. I only wish I could have waited until today. Twas just as cold but nowhere near as rough. The passage from Rattlesnake to the vicinity of Glendale was about as much pounding as my old bones could take. From there to Meredith, not so bad. Now it's time to start counting the days until next Spring. That and getting into proper mushing shape.
