If you plan to remove the boat from the lift in October, you may want to calculate how much water you need under the lift to float off you boat.

9/9/19 The current level of the Lake is 503.46, with outflow at 600 cfs.
Full Lake is 504.32. Presently, we are .86 or 10.32 inches below
full lake. You can make assumption where you think the level will
in October, and 4-6 inches lower is very possible.

Try to measure the water depth at your lift where your boat
begins to float. Measure how much lower your lift will drop, and if
you will have enough water with an additional drop of 6 inches.

I have trouble getting off the lift around 14 or so inches drop in the
level. We tend not to use the boat after Labor Day, and usually
pull it that weekend.

Good luck.
