Isn't the State Prison on the hilly Parade Rd campus maybe just one mile away. The Laconia State Prison's website says it has 105 corrections officers, and 45 special services employees.

Seems like having the state administer and pay for the clinic located in the prison could be a good fit, especially if they can access federal funding. Isn't that how it's done in Norway, Sweden, and Germany.

Possibly, situating the clinic in a prison could help discourage the clients from criminal activity. You know....."It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there." Especially not in a 7' x 8' cell, with a roommate, unless it's Paris Hilton.
