Pop's may very, well have a great reputation for seafood in the region but this isn't a restaurant pissing contest, Mr Barefoot! It is simply restaurant reviews and experiences of forum members so that others may decide to try someplace they have never tried before.
Your, and everyone else's taste and experiences may differ greatly with mine so I'll take your statement with a grain of salt until I try Pop's for myself one day...and I believe Newfound Lake IS in the "Lakes Region" as well...Petey's definitely is not.
