Is OP subdividing property
or just seeking his pins? If there are pins, then a metal detector will find them. If OP needs new pins, then of course he will need a surveyor. A plot plan can be had at the town hall.
What is the reason or needs of OP? Not clear.
And I did state the name of a qualified surveyor in my post.
