FWIW, the most common problem I have heard of with SeaDek and other foam deck coverings has been darker colors getting excessive heat in rounded corner areas. Basically, new (or well-polished) gel coat in some medium-radius corners can act like a mini parabolic reflector and concentrate some sunlight in a small spot that really heats up the darker stuff and causes it to shrink, discolor, or unstick.

SeaDek has warranted the cases I've heard about, but I believe they started to require customers to replace it with a lighter color when that is a problem.
