VW are very hard to do remote starters if not installed by the manufacturer. Personal experience for me is that almost no company would touch it due to it not being a standard install. Their wiring is very complicated to tap into. Another issue was I would have had to buy an extra key and hide it somewhere in the vehicle as well
Now this was 9 years ago, and things might have changed
