I've had remote starters in almost all my vehicles. If you don't want two keys, look into a smartphone-driven version which is awesome for many reasons: 1. No second remote, 2. Infinite distance (most RS remotes don't work well through walls), 3. Lock control if keys are missing, etc. 4. Programmable options.

It might not be much less expensive than the dealer, but it'll be much more functional.
