That was about 125 nautical miles North West of Bermuda..June 1979. I was Solo. Later on that day..I took a
"Knockdown", (During Cocktails yet...OH the Humanities)
.... with the mast in the water.
The boat popped back up and continued sailing under
Wind Vane self steering.... while I sat in the cockpit
Looking. The boat was a C&C 27. Great fun.
