Although expensive at the time, I bought one as a coffee mug about 30 years ago. It was made in Japan, has a stainless steel cover, and has lasted many years. The seal—of an unknown flexible material—between the glass and the metal covering started to leak, so I put it aside to repair "later".

Very similar to the following, but with a metal handle one might expect on a coffee mug:
