Generally one of the first things any insurance agent asks when getting home owners insurance is the question >
Will this be owner occupied? If not they need to know. Without letting them know that it might not always be owner occupied gives them a leg to stand on to give you nothing if something happens when or if you rent without the insurance companies knowledge.
