Landlord insurance:
https://www.iii.org/article/coverage...-out-your-home ..... totally excellent insurance coverage is the only way to go ..... without it ..... you should not go the rental route .... no deductible ...... as in zero deductible is always worth the extra cost.
Then ..... when you have a claim .... you get zero deducted ... and your friendly insurance company pays for everything.
