....and bet you that you will be surprised to learn that then newly elected State Senator Jeannie Forester (R-Meredith) in April 2008 was the only Republican to vote yes to the 45/30 speed limit and cast the deciding vote for a 13-11 vote in the State Senate. She mentioned that as a young girl someone she knew was injured in a motorboat speed accident hitting a dock or something and that she felt a speed limit was needed. So, keep that one in your mind when you go vote for Jeannie-State Senator on November 4th.
