A friend on Sebago kept his boat on a mooring. Worked good 20 yrs ago but as he (we) got older it became a hassle to swim or paddle boat out, climb on, take the cover off & put it back on, etc. He ended up renting a slip in a marina 15 min away. Not something I would do. It makes going boating something you canít do spontaneously. It becomes a planned project.
