Consumpy Pond.
Hmmm. "Consumption" was the former name for tuberculosis.

My Dad, who grew up, sailed, raced powerboats and was employed at Camp Wyanoke—on the lake
prior to the meeting of the 1933 Legislature,
still reverts to "Winnipisseogee" when he speaks of those days.
