I noticed a different voice on the Dataphone recently. I figured Bob Fay might have been retiring.
When there has been a stand-in for Bob some of the temp readings reported have seemed to be off and inconsistent with the readings Bob was reporting. I always assumed it was a parallax problem when different people were viewing a non-digital gauge from different angles.
I'll miss Bob's friendly voice and his sign-off "Have a day!".
