Sounds like a good plan because "the PAYT program encourages residents to produce less trash. People probably do a much better job for compacting it all to fit it into one single purple $2.50 bag by crushing cans, plastic bottles and plastic food containers with one of those $19.95 heavy duty, wall mounted, aluminum can crushers that go THUNK when it crushes the can.
