I think things will be quite different early on in the season.

I agree with what Bob said about the bows, I also don't think you will find all the salmon right on top like normal right after ice out. I think they will be spread through a larger water column. Sure there will still be some on top but not like a normal ice out year. The water will be warmer than normal come April 1st, probably more like a typical May 1st. Taking water temps and checking your log books for water temp history will be key.

It will interesting to see if bait migration is affected, I can't see how it wouldn't be. I would assume areas you normally fish in May you will or should be fishing in April.

Either way it will be fun finding out!! I'm looking forward to it!!
