You got that right! I couldn't agree more. I am originally from East Boston and John Paolini, the owner/chef of Piccola's is a life long friend of mine.
He started out as a kid learning his craft at Jeveli's Restaurant in East Boston and then was a cook at Joe Tecce's restaurant in the North End. There he met another great chef, Annibale Todesca. When Annibale left Tecce's to open the Colloseum Restaurant in Salem, NH he took John with him and John was his head Chef there until John went on his own and opened Piccola Italia.

If you ever have a chance check out his restaurant.
