As I see it:
1. Virus is a thing.
2. Quarantine to "flatten the curve."
3. New information = virus spread can be kept in check if socially distant/wear mask/wash hands and sanitize/don't touch, or sneeze in, faces.
4. Some states: "let's open intelligently and with guidelines." Other states: "screw that ish, I need to parrrr-tayyyy!"
5. Some states: "Our Covid numbers have plummeted." Other states: "Our Covid numbers have skyrocketed."
Weird.
