As far as Lowe’s I also asked why they are now asking for Military ID. I was told it was because a building contractor was purchasing things for his jobs using a veterans phone number that was once a customer of his. So he decided to continue using the guys phone number to get 10% off vs the 5 % he was getting as a contractor. So when he was caught they now ask for an ID to make sure your the veteran.
