Your 20’ Tritoon with a 150 should scream especially if you have a performance package / lifting strakes... 40 mph is pretty awesome in a 20 pontoon!!

Most 24’ Tritoons with performance package will top out around 48 mph + or - with any 250 hp outboard.

I had a 24’ manitou xplode cruise with a 250 HO Etec that could reach 53 mph under the right conditions. The thing was a performance beast. My current boat which is 27 1/2’ will / once hit 53 mph but that took 100 more HP with a 350 Yamaha 4 stroke....

I still find it amazing the performance you can get out these “barn doors” on the water! They have come a long way and are so comfortable!
