whether you enjoy it or not if it's not a night event tv revenue is just not there. No track owner is spending those millions on lights because they don't expect a huge return. Racing is still popular just look to the national event(NHRA)in Epping and the local tracks in NE but without enough support and infrastructure to support these events they move and tracks close.
