I use Amcrest ProHD cameras. I've got 2 of the wifi cameras that have pan / tilt / zoom & night vision capability and mount them in windows inside the house with the included adjustable mounting bracket. I can scan up and down the shoreline or inside the house and look at my weather station. They're around 45 bucks on Amazon. Setup is a cinch. Phone app works well. They can send motion activated alerts. I've had 2 of them on the island for 3 years now without any problems.
