One "ice cluster" has floated against my shoreline this week. They were installed in recent years where many pilings had been placed before. Although connected together with real bolts (good), the location was a bad idea by the contractor. (Although the docks were saved—these "ice clusters" do float).



Looking upwind, where I wouldn't haven't suggested installing one, this year, all three have disappeared!
