Default Thanks Don!

I need to learn how to search the archives. Seems like a few of us needs a lesson.

APS. I have mention earlier a long time owner in Chestnut Cove remember the incident. An unexperienced pilot with little knowledge of the lake. Thanks God no one was killed.

And saying that a speed limit will prevent this. I don't think a speed limit will prevent stupidity. I hear speed mayhem every day on our roads despite speed limits. I seroiusly doubt if there was a speed limit in place it would prevent this.

Just because one person says the boat flipped twice is heresay. We don't even know how fast the boat was going! He may even be traveling 45!

The fact is he was travelling too fast for the conditions and he broke the 150' rule alone makes the boat driver guilty! Another little known state law, driving to endanger, should have been applied, as he had passengers. If that law only pertain to road vehicles, perhap we should change the law to include all watercrafts. You can use a sailboat to endanger passengers as well.
