Congestion clears up in a couple of minutes. Older containers are said to be much more effective than the newest formula. As above—used sparingly—my three containers, secured at three dwellings—are the old formula.

I'm telling you, it works great, especially for allergies. I also do it when I have a cold, it flushes everything out. There are certain rules you need to follow, like using sterile water (either boiled AND cooled or distilled out of a bottle). And it needs to be a saline solution, you can buy premixed packets or mix your own, just find reputable instructions and follow them.
