I ordered the New Dell 8900 on Monday night. I got a (RoboCall..Telephone) today: (Wednesday) The computer... AND the TV will arrive tomorrow..no time indicated. One is via UPS and the other FedEx. They said they need a signature..SO that means they don't want to leave it on the doorstep.

This was the almost basic XPS 8900 listed on the dell website for $1049+. I added Office 365 and an upgraded Video card....and something else which I can't remember.

Funny thing is..the AUDIO card is now "Integrated"...even in the upgraded TOP of the line $2200 XPS 8900. There are NO Optional sound cards. Apparently, Audio cards are a thing of the past. My current (Old) computer has a Creative X-Fi Sound Blaster Titanium that I ordered with the previous XPS Dell, seven years ago. I like it.

Tomorrow will tell...
