I like to wear water shoes to protect my feet when I step off my boat on a rocky bottom. I prefer ones that can be tightened around my ankle to prevent them from getting sucked off in a mucky bottom.

You may also want a hat that won’t blow off at speed, or a tether to keep your hat from disappearing. The same for sunglasses.

If you want to ride early or late in the season, warm/waterproof clothing may be in order. Perhaps a pair of neoprene gloves.
