This was a very cold and rainy summer except for the last week of August and first week of September, and now the water temperature has dropped from 71 to 67 over the weekend of September 13-14 which is a huge drop.
It's my guess that the water temp never got up warmer than about 73 this year which is about five degrees cooler than most years high of 78 in the first week of August ..... but not this year ......brrrrrrrrr........a cold and moldy 2014 summer! Ok.....so just maybe it may have touched 74 for like one half of one day.....but that's all......such a cold, rainy and gray summer.........ugh......where do I go to get a refund for this defective summer of 2014!
How cold was the water temperature in August? It was so cold that it looks like the State of NH-Dept Environmental Service, Lakeport Dam, Laconia was a-scared to report it as it normally does???? What happened to all the numbers......nothing but blank days with no temp numbers for August-2014?
