I can't find any links to share. Laconia Historical Society has a blurb under events but I don't think it actually mentions Weirs Beach location. Some people assume that everyone knows the NH Veterans Assoc. was started by Civil War Veterans at Weirs Beach. Not the case. This event I think is to commemorate the end of the war in 1865. There will be 4 Infantry Reenactor outfits, a few Artillery outfits, a band and skits, etc. Hope to see you there Saturday. I will be falling in with the 6th NH on detached duty from the 5th NH. ALL for FREE!
