I looked at that property when it was listed quite a few years back for 99000. Its amazing how island property prices have changed.

In 1965 my grandfather bought a 1/2 acre lot on the Barber Pole side of Cow for 3500 dollars.In those days a retired janitor could afford that.

At the same time in 1965 all of Farm Island was for sale for 5000 dollars. My Grandfather was not interested because there was no electricity. I think its now listed for 1.6 million.
