Good point, Aps. I am not an electrical engineer, nor am I a roofer, nor a builder, so I wonder if any of thoses types of trades take into consideration the down-side of using extensive copper flashing in roof valleys. The cooper looks really nice, and will probably last almost forever, but, as Aps says, a heavy-duty copper wire serves as a wonderful ground lead, so, maybe a copper valley would serve as the same, only with less desireable results.
