I take the Ooma box to Florida during the winter. I used it more often at the previous Florida house because the cell coverage was lousy. I take great joy in calling my New Hampshire friends during a snow storm and telling them how nice the Florida weather is.
Now the only other time I use it is when I can't find my cell phone and I call the cell phone number to get it to ring. The joy of being old!

I was going to point out the waste of money given that you can use your cell for wifi calling given that Ooma needs internet anyway, but then you followed up with that gem of using the landline (that's never lost) to find your phone—winner winner!
