Today, I suggested at customer service that they start by selling bags with good long straps for over the shoulder.

They should sell collapsible carts which have space for purchases.

I disagree with allowing the in-store carts being taken to Meredith docks; for one thing where to place them? Just anywhere is an eyesore, and a danger to pedestrians who walk the board walk path along the entire waterfront - Pleasant Street to Gazebo at Church Landing.

Why doesn't someone approach Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Program, and/or Town Select Board, along with Hannaford's store manager. Be aggressive and communicate these options. They all will need to be prepared for traffic/pedestrian congestion & its management.
