While I agree it is human nature to defend someone we know, and not want to think poorly of them, I wonder if I can ask your opinion, Chipj29...
When these poeple look the other way, when someone they know messes up, or acts poorly...and yet when someone they don't know does something very similar, they call them an "idiot" "fool" "jerk" etc....Are they not setting themselves up to be called out? Or should the flip/flop just be ignored?
It tends to get my blood boiling, although I am working toward just ignoring it. I guess I always seem to set myself up to be the bad guy...but posters should be held accountable for what they write...yes? no? maybe?
