That is correct. Bizer only has three Garmins(V, 76CSx, 276C), but there are over 80 models out there. They all have different "features" (I call them quirks). The sole purpose of the test version is to see if you can load it onto your own Garmin. If you can, then the full-blown version should work fine.

Again, Bizer does not have a NuVi so we have to rely on what people have told us. The NuVi is primarily an automobile device and does not have a marine mode. One user with a NuVi 260W did report the buoys in color, but all other NuVi users reported the buoys as white. There may be some setting that was found by that particular user, but without a complete inventory of NuVis, Bizer has no way of determining why the buoys were only in color for that one user.
