There are public launches in the Paugus area - both have been mentioned here, but aside from that - between Paugus Bay and Alton there are places to put in, and there are also public access points in Meredith. Why send some one half way around the lake to launch?
Thats like suggesting they get their Dunkin Donuts fix over at the shop in Wolfeboro - when they are renting a house in Center Harbor!
