Sorry if I sounded annoyed. I didn't mean to. I was just sending a quick reply as I flew out the door for work.
The failed power supply is just one of those little transformers that you plug into the wall to power or charge devices like cell phones, etc. Fortunately it is a minor expense although I have got my eye on a real high-quality camera ($800) that I hope to purchase this winter and have operating for next season. The quality would beat anything on the Lake right now. Here's a sample of what it can do:
