Today's www.UnionLeader.com has a State House Dome article by Tom Fahey that speaks some about the boat speed limit bill, and suggests it will come to the House floor on Wednesday.

Attention, attenion, attention, all the go fast-be loud, performance boating forums across the country like 'Scream & Fly', and 'Offshore Only', it is now time to rev up those engines and start sending 100's & 1000's of emails to each and everyone of the community service, and VOLUNTEER PEOPLE who are the 400 New Hampshire State Representatives. I bumped into a state rep at the town transfer station this week, and he was driving a car just like mine, a 1998 Ford Escort wagen, with 4cyl, 5 speed, & 189k miles. It was in decent shape too, even had a working air conditioner! No doubt, he will appreciate 100's of emails that promote and allow 50 to 100+ mph for the 32'-8000lb-1200hp performance speedboats with names like the Baja Outlaw. ...thanks!

In case you missed the "Building Winni Sailing" thread in the nearby boating section, the NH Dept of Parks & Recreation is on-board with the Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Assoc,, www.lwsa.org, to build a brand new community sailing facility at Lake Winnipeasaukee's Ellacoya State Park.
