Nice Laker for sure. I can't believe that's the biggest the lake has to offer. I think the big fish are big for a reason: they are better at avoiding hooks than others. I believe the lake has a lot of fish like that. I used to fish that area quite a bit in the 90's. The deep hole outside of Alton bay. One summer while vertically jigging my partner hooked something very large that he battled for about 30 seconds. Using stout gear and targeting marks on our flasher that were well off the bottom. He was struggling to gain on that fish or whaterver it was.

Great fish! Don't give up your secrets! they already know where it was caught, that's half the battle.
