Answering my plea for a ride to Rattlesnake Island to fix Snake Eyes, FLL (FatLazyLess), who is neither fat, nor lazy, and most certainly not less, traveled from Flashing Light 3 in Meredith to W. Alton over a quite windy broads... to pick me up at the home of DRH and Quilt Lady. The ride out was nice... but quite rough on the broads side of the island. It took a while to get the cam operational and tested
(more trouble with my router than the cam). FLL patiently waited as the day wore on and I worked on the tasks at hand.
Snake Eyes is now back so we can watch ice-in... if we ever have one... and it is all due to the courage of this great friend of the forum. If you think this is all bull... think about being alone for more than 10 miles on a lake where there is no one else and the water temps are less than 40 degrees...
Thank you so much FLL for spending the afternoon so forum folks can get their lake fix!!!!
Applause... Applause.
Here is FLL relaxin' on my deck
FLL waving goodbye as he heads back across the pond.. to get home before dark
