Tis the season for giving and a local business has decided to do just that.
Carol Perl, who owns the Broken Antler restaurant and lounge at 7 Main Street, said she is giving customers the engraved pewterlike mugs the establishment originally awarded as part of a beer drinking promotion.
"It's a way to give back to the community," said Perl as she worked to stack a collection of more than 100 of the 16-ounce handled mugs in front of a Christmas tree in the 51-seat restaurant.
The original mugs were destroyed in the fire, but Carol said, she's kept the records on her home computer and was able to order replacements. |
