Might be too late to apply by 3 Mile Island is owned and run by the AMC and is staffed for the summer. I believe staffers stay on the island but may rotate out on specific days. Depending if your daughter likes to work with kids at local camps or working with an AMC crew. 14 MAY be too young but you don't know until you try. I began working with the Society for the Protection of NH Forests at 14 (back in 1978)
