When Descant and I were at the Statewide Park Advisory Committees, one of the things coming up was that none of the groups grasped income, just all the things they wanted to spend money on.

I have to agree most if not all charitable trusts as well as non-profits are poorly managed. They thought they have to spend all the donations received. That is not the case. They should think income instead. I've been on a number of charitable/non-profit boards. I was able to convince others to rethink. Today most but not all have positive net income instead of negative.
