They have to do an incredible amount of fundraising and are poorly managed in that regard.
They would need to build a huge endowment fund to generate income to the point where they never needed to worry about it again.
When Descant and I were at the Statewide Park Advisory Committees, one of the things coming up was that none of the groups grasped income, just all the things they wanted to spend money on.
