They actually came out to the property in late March/early april of last year and took photos of everything. I am not sure if they notified anyone that they were coming, my aunt is the executor for the trust and is the contact for all of this, although at 75 it may be time to pass that on...
They sent her a 29 page report on the property with everything they want addressed or they said they would not underwrite the property. The kicker is they made accusations in the report of not maintaining the property and used a picture of the leaves piled up against the front door. We hadn't been up there to even open the place yet so, yes the leaves were still there from the fall/winter.
I am trying to get looped into all of this now so I can handle it, but again this a ton of time and effort for a place that I get to use for 1 week and maybe a weekend each summer....
