Breeze - Meredith
Intersting group of comments, My wife and I are big fans of the Breeze Gilford-- have had many good meals there, reliable favorite (grilled octopus, calamari, swordfish, and salmon) as well as the occasional specials (short ribs) and the menu which changes pretty regularly. Gripes about the noise level are justified, but we very much like the bar setting for dinner or light fare. Great off-season; no TV at the bar: outstanding!
Ate at the Meredith location for the 1st time last weekend-- good entrees-- swordfish and salmon again, but agree with the earlier comment about he artichoke dip-- way too cheesy, not much substance-- disappointing for something that should be easy and is tried-and-true at the Gilford location. Bar setting is great because of the roll-up glass windows and a lot of glass to see Meredith and a bit of the lake. Note that there is a smaller dining room in the read which appears to be much quieter; also, a fireplace in the main dining area which should be very cozy in the winter. Would go back, but they need to work on simple things-- like known recipes.
