I don't think the restaurant failed, I think the landlord jacked up the rent, my guess. Not sure who did the renovations but if it was the renter, it's a good case to have a long term stable lease in place before making any investment in a property. I think Gusto will be fine, they had remodeled the space above the cafe before the Taphouse, hopefully they still have that.
