Hey, it pays to shop around, and competition is what makes America great.

On Sunday Oct 20, the Lowe's in Tilton had a number of large handwritten signs in their outdoor garden area saying all plants and shrubs are 50% off. Picked up two very nice outdoors blueberry plants for !4.99-ea, reg 29.99.

About one hour later at the Lowe's in Gilford there were no signs for 50%-off in their Gilford outdoor garden area. So, I mentioned this Tilton 50%-off to the garden area cashier and asked so why not in Gilford? She says she has a 50% off button on the cash register that she would use.

So in Gilford it apparently was a 50%-off secret sale while it was a 50%-off signed sale in Tilton. Different strokes for different management folks, Tilton vs. Gilford.

Pssstttttt ....... it was a 50%-off secret sale, but don't tell anyone, it is a secret.
